We wanted more than classic gift baskets or disposable packaging that ends up in the trash after unwrapping. The idea arose from a simple question:

This is where Toyo Steel comes into play. These iconic, seamless steel boxes from Japan combine timeless industrial design with lifelong functionality. They turn every Lovapres gift box into a lasting keepsake that can later be reused in the home office, kitchen, or creative studio. Each box and every product is personally curated by me with care to perfectly combine aesthetics and utility.
From Logistics to a Swiss Gift Shop
The idea for lovapres originated from my professional background in logistics. Over many years – from hands-on work in the warehouse to commercial administration and eventually founding my own company – countless brands and products passed through my hands. This experience allowed me to develop a real knack for understanding what truly constitutes first-class quality and good design.
At the same time, one thing always bothered me about traditional gift shops: you often pay a lot of money for a simple cardboard box that ends up directly in the recycling bin after unpacking. So why spend money on single-use packaging when you could gift an iconic Toyo Steel Box for the same value, a box that will last decades in daily use? This thought led me to found lovapres. The name, by the way, is a small play on words and stands for: Everybody LOVes A PRESent.
But let's be honest: often, the search for a gift means stress, the fear of making a bad purchase, or accumulating impersonal clutter. For me, a gift isn't just about consumption; it's a message that says, "I was thinking of you." It's precisely this good feeling of genuine appreciation that I want to bring back.

- Imex Delikatessen: Our partner for fine moments of pleasure has been actively involved for over 10 years in the reintegration of people with physical or mental impairments into the labor market, giving them new self-confidence through stable daily routines and genuine appreciation.
- Lavida (Geschenk für Dich): Many of these gifts are assembled and manufactured at ten different locations under fair conditions by over 250 people with disabilities, enabling their social integration and joy in working life.
- Hervorragend: The beautiful, handmade cards from our partner are Fair-Trade certified and open up new opportunities and perspectives for disadvantaged people both in Switzerland and worldwide.
- Laroma: When selecting my fragrance and wellness partners, the company philosophy is particularly important to me. Laroma specifically has a portion of its products manufactured and printed in a Swiss residential and workshop facility. This institution offers people in difficult life situations or with mental illnesses a protected environment, a stable daily structure, and a place where they can feel safe.
